Al-Harb wal-Siyasa (War and Politics) was a weekly newspaper published in Jerusalem. The paper discussed political developments in the world and their influence on the eastern Arab countries (i.e., the countries of the Middle East). The newspaper dealt intensively with developments in the Second World War, devoting special attention to military fronts and the political changes in Europe. It also followed the USA’s increasing involvement and predicted when America would enter the war. Al-Harb wal-Siyasa is considered an important source for the study of different aspects of the Second World War. As an Arabic-language newspaper, it is of great value in understanding the war from an Arab-Palestinian perspective.
