Description:
Al-Majalla al-Batriarkiyya al-Siryaniyya (The Journal of the Syriac Patriarchate), a literary and religious journal, was published ten times a year. According to the first issue, from April 1st, 1933, the journal was dedicated to publishing news about the Syriac people. The monthly journal sought to fill the gap left after the journal al-Hikma ceased publication in 1932 following the death of the former Patriarchate, Father Elias. Each issue begins with reports on church news followed by articles on religious matters, literary articles, and articles of interest to the general Syriac public. The editor also used the platform to publish excerpts from his own writings.
