Description:
Al-Bishara al-Islamiyya al-Ahmadiyya (The Islamic Ahmadi Good News) was a religious publication of the Ahmadi Muslim movement in Haifa. The publication dealt mainly with religious matters relating to Christianity and Ahmadi Islam, but also regularly published poetry. The publication sought to create a new discourse grounded in interfaith dialogue, such as the dialogue between Christians and Muslims, as was featured in its sixth issue. The publication covered the internal affairs of the Ahmadiyya community and its perspective on wider Palestinian society. This approach was emphasized in its tenth issue. The publication was discontinued in 1934 and republished a year later under the name al-Bushra (Good News). The second series ceased to be published after its fifth issue (1973), and the publication of the third series began in 1977.
