Huna al-Quds was a cultural magazine published twice a month by the Palestine Broadcasting Service. The first issue was published on January 19th, 1940. Besides articles on local culture, it closely followed the events of World War II and particularly British victories on the battlefield. It also published the broadcast schedule for Radio Palestine for two weeks at a time, as well as feature articles on topics such as the school curriculum in Palestine, the state of industry in Nablus, and developments in scientific research in Ramallah.The magazine ceased publication on December 31, 1942 as was announced in a letter from the editor addressed to “esteemed readers” that “the issue of Huna Al-Quds before you is the last and final issue, bringing to an end a publication record of three years.”
